The School is advertising for a talented student for a funded PhD in Cyber Security. The precise area of research can be specified by the student when they apply.

The research will be supervised by Shujun Li, the new Professor of Cyber Security, who will take up his appointment at the University of Kent in November.

The School of Computing provides comprehensive support for its research students including:

  • regular supervision meetings
  • a research training programme
  • computer equipment
  • a desk in an office
  • funds for conference travel

Applicants should apply by 30 September for a start date of 1 December 2017.
