Biography
Hongmei (Mary) He (FHEA, SIEEE) is Chair Professor of AI for Robotics at the University of Salford and the Salford Turing University Network Academic Liaison. Her major research area is human-centred AI for trustworthy robotics and autonomous systems, with a strong focus on safety, explainability, and cognitive robotics. She currently serves as Chair of the IEEE UK and Ireland Robotics and Automation Chapter and is a member of the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society (RAS) Cognitive Robotics Technical Committee. Within the IEEE Standards Association, she contributes to several working groups (P1912, P2834, P3428, P7000) and leads the AI Security and Privacy section in P1912. Professor He is a founding member of the Annual IEEE UK and Ireland RAS Chapter Conference and organised the 2025 “Trustworthy Medical Robotics” Workshop at the Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics. She has held numerous technical programme and leadership roles across major international conferences, including IEEE WCCI, IJCNN, COINS and IROS. She is a member of the UK EPSRC Peer Review College (top 4% in 2021/2022), an EU H2020 ICT Robotics Programme expert, and serves on the editorial boards of AI and Applications and Scientific Reports.

Biography
Shujun Li is Professor of Cyber Security at the School of Computing, University of Kent in the UK. He is Director of the Institute of Cyber Security for Society (iCSS), one of 21 UK government recognised Academic Centres of Excellence in Cyber Security Research. His research interests cover cyber security and privacy, AI/NLP, trustworthy AI, multimedia computing, human factors, digital forensics, and cyber law. He has published over 150 research papers and received five Best Paper Awards. He is a Fellow of BCS, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Member of ACM. He received one of the 2022 IEEE SMC (Systems, Man, and Cybernetics) Society TCHS (Technical Committee on Homeland Security) Research and Innovation Awards. He is a Founding Vice President and Director of the ABCP (Association of British Chinese Professors) since 2018. He is a Fellow of BCS, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Member of ACM. He is on the editorial board of multiple scientific journals including IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing and Computers & Security. He led the organisation of 20 scientific conference and workshops as the General or TPC (Co-)Chair, including workshops similar to the proposed AI-SS2026 workshops (e.g., MPS 2018 co-located with ACM CCS 2018 and MPS 2020 co-located with ESORICS 2020). He also co-organised 10+ other conferences as a member of the organising committee and has served ~200 scientific conferences and workshops as a TPC member.
